Struthers, MaryLou Atkinson, 

MaryLou Atkinson, 79 of Struthers who died on Monday April 4, 2016 at her home was born in Clarion County, PA. on January 2, 1937, daughter of the late, Donald and Kathrine (Garris) Young. She attended high school in Knox, PA. and was a graduate of the Boardman Beauty Academy and operated her own beauty shop for over 40 years. She loved knitting and crocheting. MaryLou had many pets, everything from Parakeets to Horses.She loved her pets and caring for them. She loved life and helping others and she enriched the lives of everyone that knew her. Most important to her was her son, Steven who is an artist in Prescott, AZ, she was very proud of him.  MaryLou is survived be her husband, Henderson G. (Rick)  Atkinson, Jr. whom she married July 18, 1954 and her son Steven (Ann) Atkinson in Prescott, Arizona.  There are no calling or services planned.
