Anyone who met David Sciortino, Loved Him, or atleast Admired him. Such a Kind man, helping anyone who needed it. His love of family was paramount, and his caring for others in his DNA. His family didn't judge "Anyone" and only extended their hand. Not many people know this but David was on vacation with "The Sarver Family" down in Florida. His friend Liz's father Bill and brother , were Grotto Clowns and they had a convention in Orlando. David stayed with the Sarver's in a hotel Room in Orlando with the rest of the clowns. lol.
One day while sitting by the pool, I "Liz" was talking to David and he jumped up and dove to the bottom of the pool. I had no idea what had happened, as we all were unaware a toddler had slipped out of his float ring and sunk to the bottom of the pool. He surfaced in seconds holding up a little boy coughing up water. He swam to the edge and handed the boy to someone on the side, he was OK. Coughing up water but OK. Even tho I am sure he was totally ingrossed in my conversation, he was still keeping an eye on the little ones there. I would say he was probably 20 or 21 at the time. Oh Ofcourse the mother was "Crying, OUTSIDE THE FENCE" and thanking David. He thought it was no big deal, all in a days work. "That Is The Kind Of Guy David Sciortino Was" I told his kids about this many years later. He said he had forgotten it, and yes, his wife Karen and kids David Jr. and Mia , hadn't heard the story. He wasn't a bragger. So I will brag for him! Love You Then, And Love You Now David, your friend forever Liz "Be there at the Gates when I come... I might need some help convincing to get in!"

My Mother (Phyllis) along with my brother Frank and sister Maria want to express our sincere gratitude to Anthony Quahliero. We were terribly saddened by the loss of our father and Anthony could not have been more compassionate, caring and sincere in how he took care of everything. His gentle demeanor and his ability to empathize with our family is to be admired. Anthony, from the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU.
