STRUTHERS - The angels took Lawrence J. “Larry” Lancy, 64, home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 22, 2015.
Larry was a loving, warm, funny, and caring human being who lived a simple Christian life and loved nothing more than to visit with family and friends, sharing a good cup of coffee, some old stories, and some hearty laughter.  He tremendously cared for the people in his life and touched the lives of many.  He will be greatly missed by countless family and friends.
He was the beloved son of John and Mary Frances (Mrofchak) Lancy of Struthers; loved and cherished brother to Lorraine Lancy, sister, and Jeffrey (Juliana) Lancy, brother, both of Struthers, and Carole (Rick) Lauer, sister, of Elyria; loving father of Kelly Bailey and David Lancy, both of Las Vegas, Courtney (James) Lancy Campana, of Struthers, and Casey Lancy and Daniel Lancy of Youngstown; as well as a dear uncle to Cari Lauer of Elyria, and Eric Lauer of Kent.
Larry was preceded in death by a stillborn brother, Kenneth Lancy. 
Family and friends may call on Thursday, February 26, 2015 from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm at Christ Our Savior Parish, St. Nicholas Church in Struthers, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial  at 1:30 pm also at St. Nicholas Church.
A luncheon celebration of Larry’s life will be held after funeral services in the banquet hall below the church.
Entombment will be at Lake Park Cemetery in Youngstown. 
In lieu of flowers, Larry’s family requests donations be made in his name to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market Street, Youngstown, 44512, 330-788-1992; or mass intentions may be made in his name with Christ Our Savior Parish, 764 Fifth St, Struthers, 44471, 330-755-9819.
