Canfield, Josephine R. "Mema"  Goclano, 94,

A private Memorial Mass was celebrated on Monday January 19, 2015 at St. Christine Church  for Josephine R. "Mema" Goclano who passed away peacefully in the comfort of her own home Wednesday morning January 14, 2015. Josephine was  born  May 27, 1920 in Pittsburgh, PA., daughter of the late  Raymond and Assunta (Balsamco) Gionta.

Mema loved to cook, bake and keep house. Her greatest achievement was being a homemaker and caregiver. She would drop everything to spend time with her family.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her son Walter (Diane) Goclano of Canfield, two brothers, Romeo and Ronald Gionta, six grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren with a fourth due in June along with many nieces and nephews.  
 
In addition to her parents, Mema was preceded in death by four brothers, Alfred, David, Author and Eugene Gionta and two sisters, Rosemary Donch and Annette Capadosa.
