Struthers, Stella H. Swansiger, 90
Funeral services will be held on Friday June 17, 2016 at 11:00 am at Christ Our Savior Parish, Holy Trinity Church, for Stella  H. Swansiger  who died  Saturday June 11, 2016 at the Hospice House after a short illness. Stella was born April 12, 1926 in Allison,Pa., a daughter of  Stanley and Mary (Skavarek) Duda. She left home at age 16 to work  at  the Kresge Company and Hochschild-Kohn in Baltimore Md. On October 16, 1948 she married Albert E. Swansiger and moved to Struthers, Ohio where she raised her family and lived until her death. She was a member of St. Nicholas Church in Struthers for 68 years and was dedicated to saying the Rosary and attending daily Mass.  She also enjoyed having her family over for Holidays and Sunday dinners.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters Alberta Lee (John) Toker, of Struthers, Joyce Ann (Jim) Oney of Tempe Az. and son, Albert (Robin) Swansiger of Raleigh, N.C.; her sisters Rosemary and Frances and brothers Tom, Joe, and Paul; six grandchildren, John David (Lyn) Toker, Matthew (Jennifer) Toker, Chris Swansiger, Daniel Swansiger, Steven Oney and Emily Oney; and four great grandchildren, Joshua and Katelyn Toker and Hailey and Christian Swansiger; and many nieces and nephews.
Stella was preceded in death by her  parents; her husband of 61 years Albert, and her brothers, John, Pete, Tony and Edward.
Visitation will be held on Friday June 17, 2016 from 10:00 -  10:50 am at Holy Trinity Church.
