Boardman, Christopher Ralph Ocasio, Sr.,

A funeral service will be held on Thursday April 9, 2015 at 7:00 pm at Victory Christian Center, 8590 Hitchcock Road in Boardman for Christopher Ralph Ocasio, Sr., 21, who has sadly left us on April 6, 2015.

Chris was born Jan. 21, 1994, in Montclair, New Jersey son of Ralph and Carmen Ocasio. Chris was a graduate of Boardman High School, class of 2012. When he wasn’t working at O’Charleys, you could find Chris loving and caring for his beautiful son, CJ. He wore his name like a badge: Christopher Ralph Ocasio, Sr. He always had a desire for adventure and knowledge and his vivid story-telling and hearty laugh brought a smile to everyone’s face. Chris always had fun with whatever he was given and could brighten up the darkest of rooms with his smiles and love. Family was the first thing on his mind every day, The tremendous love he showed his family daily can never be measured.

Chris is survived by his precious son, Christopher Ralph Ocasio, Jr.; parents, Carmen and Ralph Ocasio; four beloved siblings, Danielle Ocasio, Jay Nieves, Pedro Sanchez, Adrien Ocasio; grandmother, Nilda Barrett, his aunts, Maria and Lisa, many cousins and countless loved ones far and near.

He is now reunited with his grandmothers, Lydia Burgos and Maria Cruz; his grandfather, Ralph Ocasio, Sr.; his aunt and uncles, Elvis and Jill and Melvin Caraballo.

Visiting hours will be on Thursday April 9, 2015 from 4-7 pm at Victory Christian Center in Boardman.

He will be remembered as a son and brother, and most of all as a father. He is and always will be missed by his loved ones.

In place of flowers, monetary donations can be made directly to the family.
