William A. Gentile Sr.

William A. (Billy G.) Gentile, Sr., 82, of Poland, passed away on  February 1, 2025, at the Maplecrest Home in Struthers, Ohio surrounded by his family.

William, known to everyone as "Billy G.", was born on December 9, 1942, in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of the late William A. and Lena (Tombo) Gentile. William worked as a Sales Manager for Schwebel Bakery. He was an avid golfer and a golf instructor. He liked to play bocce and played in many bocce tournaments. He enjoyed planting flowers, gardening, and landscaping. William was an Altar Server at his church in Florida, where he lived for 19 years. William served in the US Army. All that knew him liked William, he will be missed.

He is survived by two sons, Billy Gentile, Jr., and Vince Gentile; his brother, Bob (Kandi) Gentile; his two sisters, Anna Marie Musolino, and Patty Massaro, along with several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m., on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at Kirila Funeral Home, Inc., 258 Poland Ave., Struthers, Ohio, a service will follow at 7:00 p.m.

He will be laid to rest with his parents in St. John Cemetery.
