Walter A. Goclano, 81, of Canfield, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at Hospice House in Poland. Walt was born on January 24, 1943, in New Castle, PA., the son of the late Walt Goclano, and Josephine (Gionta) Goclano. Walt was a graduate of Ursuline High School. He was a former Golden Glove Boxer. Walt worked for the Pipe Fitters Local 396 for 60 years. He was a lifelong member of St. Christine Church.
Walt is survived by his wife, Diane F. (Beil) Goclano, whom he married on June 2, 1962, and his children, Tony (Lisa) Goclano, Ron (Sue) Goclano, Steve (Dawn) Goclano, Dana (Keith) Wimer, Doug (Michelle) Goclano, and Trina (John) Neal, 22 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 28, 2024, from 10 am to 11 am at St. Christine Church in Youngstown, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am.
In place of flowers, donations can be made to; St. Jude Children's Hospital, Wounded Warriors, and the Parkinson's Foundation.
