STRUTHERS — Steve J. Pavlicko, 84, passed away Sunday, Feb. 11, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital.
Steve was born Aug. 12, 1939, in Struthers, son of the late Joseph and Mary Gavlier Pavlicko. Steve worked as a member of PHG “Michigan Hanger,” Susko’s Towing and Garage, Northside Market and Buckeye Auto Mart Inc.
Steve enjoyed playing the lottery most of all, especially triple fours; numbers were always on his mind. He also loved playing bingo when he could, and maybe just as much as his numbers, he loved to bake kolache at the holidays for friends and family.
Steve was survived by his brother, Albert Pavlicko; two sisters, Irene Brosko and Annie Zajack; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Novak; his brothers, Joe, Carmen, Frank (Susko), Emil, infant Paul and his twin brother John; brother-in-law, Charles Broscko; and several family members.
The family would like to extend thanks to Maple Crest Nursing Home for their wonderful caring and kindness in taking care of Steve.
Services will be held for family and friends at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 7, 2024, at Christ Our Savior Parish, Holy Trinity Church, Struthers, followed by a private burial in St. John’s Cemetery.
