Rose Mary Stofko, 81
Youngstown, funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2019, at 10:00 am at St. James the Apostle Church in New Bedford, PA., for Rose Mary Stofko, 81, who passed away peacefully with her daughter and husband by her side. Rose Mary was born July 8, 1937, in Youngstown, daughter of the late Stephen and Christina (Matesevac) Sotlar. She was a member at St. James the Apostle Church. She worked for Hills Department Store for 25 years. Rose Mary enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and loved taking care of her rose bushes.
Rose Mary is survived by her husband of 59 years, Michael Stofko, her two children, Stephanie (David) McGough, and Jeffrey (Rhonda) Stofko, eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, her brother, Steve (Mary Jean) Sotlar, and her sister, Chris (John) Maker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael Stofko, and a sister, Helen Pregibon.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 20, 2019, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Kirila Funeral Home, Inc., 258 Poland Avenue in Struthers. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery.
On Tuesday, the family has asked that anyone attending the church service go directly to the church.
