Rose (Carney) Vanderpool

Rose Vanderpool, 81 passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Boardman. Rose was born in Youngstown on March 25, 1937, daughter of the late Patrick F. and Rose (Rubino) Carney. She was a graduate of Struthers High School. Rose worked in the Mahoning County Treasurers office as a  Deputy Clerk. 

She is survived by her sister,  Dorothy  Flak of Boardman, her  brother, Patrick (Diana) Carney of Poland, four  grandchildren, Sarah, Madison, Sophia and Lala and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, Rose was  preceded in death by her husband, Robert T. Vanderpool whom she married August 1, 1965, he died February 20, 2009, her son Robert J. Vanderpool, he died May 12, 2013 and a sister, Mary Ann Weter.

Visitation will be held  on Thursday, October 4, 2018 from  5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the Kirila funeral Home,Inc. Funeral services will be on Friday at 11:00 am also at Kirila Funeral Home, Inc. 

Interment will follow in the Lake Park Cemetery
