Ronald J. Harris, 77, who passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2019, in Select Specialty Hospital in Boardman. Ron was born on August 30, 1941, in Youngstown, son of the late Joseph F. and Irene (Timko) Harris. Ron was a graduate of Campbell Memorial High School. Ron served in the US Navy as a Radar Technician and was on a destroyer during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He worked at the Youngstown Sheet & Tube as an Electrician and later worked for several electrical companies in the area last being Emerson Electric. Ron loved to fish. He enjoyed helping people when he could, especially doing repair work for his family and friends. 

Ron is survived by his sister, Sandra (Bob) Billec, his brother in law, Ernest Eckert, his nephews, Brett Billec, Chad (Jenny) Billec, Austin (Geri) McClellan and John McClellan and his two cats that he adored, Charlie and Gypsy. In addition to Ron's parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Elena Lennie (Busonik)  Harris whom he married on May 5, 1962, she died December 3, 2018, and his sister in law, Georgianna J. Eckert.

Ron selected cremation without any visitation or service.
