Robert Paul Kacir

Robert Paul Kacir, 85, of Lowellville, passed away on January 12, 2026 at his residence. He was born August 12, 1940 in Struthers, OH, a son of the late Michael Kacir and Agnes (Janosik) Kacir, both born in Czechoslovakia.

Robert was a 1959 graduate of North High School and he attended Kent State. He worked as a Pipe Fitter for Wean United then went on to start his own business, Kacir Builders.

He was a member of horse riding clubs, snowmobile clubs and the Sokol Club.

He is survived by his son, Stephen Kacir (Lori); daughter, Michele Kacir; grandchildren, Michael (Valerie), Nicholas, Vincent (Chloe), Anthony, Leonardo; great-grandchildren, Micah, and Luca; and his niece, Kathy Freudenberg (RJ). He is also survived by his ex-wife of 22 years, Paula (Constantine) Kacir.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael Kacir, and Stephen Kacir.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the Kirila Funeral Home, Inc., 258 Poland Ave., Struthers, Ohio.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church in Lowellville, Ohio, those attending the mass are to go directly to the church.

Interment will follow in the St.  John Cemetery, Lowellville, Ohio 44436.
