Struthers, Philip J. Williams 70, passed away peacefully Friday, January 10, 202,5 at Hospice House surrounded by his loved ones. He was born January 15, 1954, in Youngstown to the late Leo J. and Mary Beth (Hallden) Williams. He was a 1972 graduate of Boardman High School. He worked 20 years for the P& LE Railroad and 23 years for the CSX Railroad. Phil loved spending time with his family and friends, playing golf, pool, and darts. In 1974, he married the love of his life, the former Rose Mary Fitzpatrick and enjoyed 50 years of marriage.
He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his wife Rose Mary, his children, Patrick (Jodi) Williams of Struthers, Kelly (Brent) Kelley of Poland, Jason (Jennie) Williams of Boardman, his grandchildren, Ryan and Logan Williams, Emma and Lily Kelley, and Devanne and Haydenne Williams. He also leaves a brother Larry (Judy) Williams of Georgia, and two sisters, Jeanette (Jim) Larson of Poland and Patricia (Anthony) Pervitch of Struthers.
Phil will be best remembered for his kind and friendly personality.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, from 5 pm – 7 pm at the Kirila Funeral Home, Inc. in Struthers. Services will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at 11 am, also at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery.
