Patricia L. (Gentile) Massaro

Patricia L. Gentile Massaro, 76, of Poland passed away on Friday August 15, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown. Patty was born on July 19, 1949, in Youngstown, daughter of the late William A. and Lena (Tombo) Gentile.

She was a graduate of Struthers High School and a member of Christ our Savior Parish, Saint Nicholas Church. Patty worked as a Bank Teller for several local banks. Patty was very active at St. Nicholas Church, she was a member of its Altar and Rosary Society, and she was a Eucharistic Minister and a Reader. She also donated her time at the church festival and enjoyed going on Casino trips offered by the church.

Patty is survived by her daughter, Roxanna Soltis (Gene) whom she resided with; her son, Nicky DePizzo (Kristen); her sister, Anna Marie Musolino; and her brother, Bob Gentile (Kandi); and one grandchild, Alyssa DePizzo.

In Addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony F. Massaro and her brother, Billy Gentile.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 25, 2025, from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the Kirila Funeral Home, Inc., Struthers, followed by a memorial service at 7:00 pm.

She will be laid to rest at St. John Cemetery.
