Mike J. Fiscus, 66, of Youngstown, passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2021, at Hospice House in Poland. Mike was born on March 21, 1955, in Youngstown, son of the late Richard and Betty Jean (Williams) Fiscus. He was a graduate of Rayen High School and Choffin Career & Technical Center and became a welder. Mike worked for the shipyards in Lorain, Ohio, Republic Steel and for 30 plus years he worked for Quality Truck & Body as a welder and hydraulic mechanic. Mike was a hard worker and also enjoyed the outdoors, especially traveling up to the Allegheny Mountains in the fall, and riding his Harley.
Mike loved his family and is survived by his daughter, Michelle Fiscus of Austintown; two sons, Mike (Cindy) Fiscus of Berlin Center, Tom (Donielle) Fiscus of Berlin Center, his brother, Richard Fiscus of Austintown, two sisters, Cynthia Haider of Minnesota, and Beth Keller of Florida, and his grandchildren, Robbie (McKenzie) Veauthier, and Kaitlyn Veauthier, Alyssa, Anthony, Zachary, and Dillon Fiscus, and a great-grandchild, James Veauthier. He also leaves his dog, Shadow to be cared for by his best friend, Tom McKnight. In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his sister, Lenora DeAngelis.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Kirila Funeral Home, Inc., in Struthers followed by a service starting at 7:00 pm.
