Michael L. McCabe, II, 49, of Newton Falls, died at his residence on April 21, 2024. Michael was born in Youngstown, OH, on March 8, 1975, the son of the late Michael L. and Shirley J. (Calzo) McCabe, Sr.  

Michael worked as a Line Worker for the Polychem Company.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, fishing, camping, cooking, and wolves, and was a fan of the WWE.

He is survived by: his children, John M. McCabe, Brianna L. McCabe, and Xavier "Little Man" M. McCabe, his sisters, Elizabeth McCabe (John Buck Jr.) and Anna McCabe, the love of his life, Elizabeth Opsitnik, stepbrother and sister, William Stevenus and Tammy Buck, nieces, Kayla (Tim Thomas), Jamie and Shaelyn, nephews, Alexander, Lane (Alayna), Gage and Jacob and great-nephews, Carmine and Montgomery Lane.

In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his stepmother, Paulette McCabe.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024, from noon until 6:00 pm at the Pymatuning State Park, (Cabin Beach Picnic Shelter), 6100 Pymatuning Lake Road Andover, Ohio.

In place of flowers, donations can be made to the family.
