Martha Pesa Obituary
NEW MIDDLETOWN - Martha M. Pesa, 93, died on Sunday, July 15, 2018, at Masternick Memorial Health Care Center.
Martha was born in Pamlico, N.C. on Nov. 25, 1924, daughter of the late Linster and Maggie (Mason) Spain.
Martha worked for Plakie Toy Company for 30 years. She enjoyed going to Mountaineer Casino, but most important to her was spending time with her family.
Martha is survived by her daughter, Jean (Perry) Santangelo of New Middletown; son Michael Pesa of Struthers; grandchildren Dale (Leslie) Santangelo, Tony Santangelo, Danny (Anna) Santangelo, Angela (Ryan) Jones, and Michelle Niski; great-grandchildren Devin, Larissa, Joey, Nichole, Morgan, Gianna and Mason Santangelo, Caden Jones, and John Niski; sisters-in-law Theresa Pesa and Evelyn Pesa; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Edward A. Pesa, whom she married on Nov. 14, 1942, he died June 8, 2010; and brother Arlie Spain and his wife, JoAnna.
There are no calling hours or services planned. Entombment will be at Lake Park Cemetery.
