New Springfield - Mark Anthony Stahura, 30, passed away at his residence on Monday, August 5, 2024. He was born March 2, 1994, in Youngstown, the son of James A Stahura and Kimberly DeGeorge.
Mark was a graduate of Struthers High School where he played football from peewee through high school. He was an avid fan of The Ohio State and Cleveland Browns football teams. Mark was a previous member of Christ Our Savior Parish, Holy Trinity Church, and attended Mercy House Church in Lowellville. Mark was very kind and caring to everyone he met.
He is survived by his mother, Kimberly DeGeorge, the love of his life, Brittnie Slepski, and her children, Addison and Kaedence, and his sister, Aimee (Derek) Moore, and their children, Mikayla, Leah, and Jr., all of Weirton, WV.
Mark was preceded in death by his father, James A Stahura, grandparents, Anthony and Thelma DeGeorge, and Terrence and Penny Stahura.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2024, from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the Kirila Funeral Home, 258 Poland Ave., Struthers, Ohio. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, August 16, at 11:00 am at Christ Our Savior Parish, Holy Trinity Church, 250 North Bridge St, in Struthers. The funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 am for church.
