Marjorie G. Barber

Marjorie G. Barber, 88, of Youngstown, passed away on February 3, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her family.

Marjorie was born on March 11, 1936, in Youngstown, Ohio to the late Michael and Loretta (Heath) Kiktavy. Marjorie was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed listening and dancing to her husband’s band and traveling with her husband.

Marjorie is survived by her two sons, Thomas (Debbie) Barber, and James Barber; daughter, Loretta (Barber) Mesaros; brother, Mike (Toni Marie) Kiktavy; two sisters-in-law, Mary Barber, and Darca Barber; and a brother-in-law, Harry (Debbie) Barber; four grandchildren, Michael, Debbie Lynn, James Jr., Nicholas, 8 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas A. Barber, Sr. whom she married on September 17, 1953, he died on September 11, 2015; her granddaughter Jamie Lynn, her brother, Raymond Bailey, 2 brothers in law, Eugene and Stanley Barber, and her sister in law, Donna Barber; mother in law, Frances and daughter in law Billie.

Visitation will be held Friday, February 7, 2025, 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm at Kirila Funeral Home, Inc., Struthers, Ohio. Funeral services will follow at 2:30 pm also at the funeral home.

The burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
