Margaret Richardson Obituary

Margaret Ann (Ciszewski)  Richardson, more frequently known as Peggy, was born on February 13, 1947, to Stephen and Mary Ciszewski of Como Street in Struthers, Ohio. A lifelong resident of Mahoning County, she graduated from Struthers High School and pursued a degree in education at Youngstown State University. While a Penguin, she was an active member of the sorority Gamma Sigma Sigma, and she enjoyed meeting with those collegiate friends well into her adult life.

She raised her four children in Boardman, Ohio: Nicole Welsh (Joseph) of Munroe Falls, Jennifer Kinnick (Mark) of Lake Milton, Matthew Richardson, and Joshua Richardson, both of Boardman. She leaves behind her children, her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her beloved first grandchild and best friend, Victoria Richardson-Kinnick (with whom she had a standing weekly matinee movie date), followed by Dakotah Welsh, Cheyenne Welsh, and Vance Kinnick. Her additional grandchild, Craig Kinnick Brown (April) of Tennessee, provided her only great-grandchildren while she was alive, Ellen and Josephine. She is also survived by her only brother, Stephen Ciszewski, and niece Dana Ciszewski, as well as many cousins.

Not only will she be missed by her immediate family, but by her extended family, and those friends who she treated as family. It was rare for her to have a friend that didn't become a part of the family- that was just Peggy's way. Her coworkers from her many years of baking at The Sugar Plum Shoppe, The Italian Baking Company, and Maggie's Magic Muffin House. Her treatment team of nearly a decade at the Cleveland Clinic, led by Doctor Abdo Haddad and Nurse Bridget Arnold. Her nurse's aide, Brandie Naples, who started as a longtime family friend, adopted daughter, and best caregiver a family could ask for... it was her daily care that enabled us to give Mom her final wish: to remain in her home. We would be remiss not to make mention of all of our friends who became her kids by default.

She joins in heaven, her parents, Stephen and Mary Ciszewski, her son, Vincent Richardson, her sisters-in-law, Stephany Ciszewski, Veronique Parker, and Vicky Menough, her best friend, Peggy Lozano, and countless Aunt's, Uncle's as well as her grandparents.

There were no calling hours or funeral services due to the current pandemic. She wouldn't have wanted the fuss anyhow.
