A Devine Liturgy service will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 11:00AM at Infant Jesus of Prague Church for Lora A. Opsitnik who passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2018. Lora was born in Michigan on September 10. 1929, the daughter of the late Louis and Ursula (Donofrio) Sylvester. Lora worked at the Catholic Diocese of Youngstown. She was a member of the Infant Jesus of Prague Church and its Alter and Rosary Society, Infant Jesus of Prague Guild and Byzantine  Social Club. She belonged to several card clubs and enjoyed bingo.
Lora is survived by three daughters, Stephanie (Robert) Sheely of Lowellville, Sandy (Steve) Sierawski of Las Vegas, Julie (Al) Toth of Salem, two sons, Mark Opsitnik of Cleveland, Robb (Becki) Opsitnik of Columbus, son in law, Fred Bush of Poland, brother John (Vera) Sylvester of Poland. She leaves eight grandchildren, Matt (Gina) Sheely, Erin (Bill) Lewis, Jason (Allison) Toth, Jennifer (Tim) Bryne, Jessica (Ryan) Schuckers, Josh Toth, Sabrina (Mark) Miller, Stephen Sierawski. She leaves nine great grandchildren.
Lora was preceded in death by her husband Gene Opsitnik whom she married February 16, 1952, he died July 21, 1996 and her daughter Tina Bush who passed away May 21, 2015.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 from 9:30AM - 11:00AM at Infant Jesus of Prague Church, 7754 South Ave. in Boardman. Burial will be in St John Cemetery.
