Iris "Jane" Genova

Poland - Iris “Jane” Genova, 87 died on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Jane was born on December 18, 1936, in Salem, Ohio, daughter of the late Archie and Edna (Davis) Rush. Over the years Jane did home and office cleaning. She was a member of Christ Our Savior Parish, St. Nicholas Church. She enjoyed bowling, baking and was a member of the Red Hats. Jane most enjoyed attending her kid’s activities.

Jane is survived by her husband, Ralph Genova, Jr. whom she married on February 1, 1962, her children, Robyn Corl, Ralph (Faith) Genova, Patrick (Ellen) Genova, and Joseph (Cathy) Genova, a brother,  Larry (Carolyn) Rush, 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Jane was preceded in death by her infant son Nicholas Genova, son-in-law, Michael Corl, and stepfather, Arthur Loesch.

Calling hours will be Thursday, August 1, 2024, from 5-7 pm at the Kirila Funeral Home, Inc., 258 Poland Avenue in Struthers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 2, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Christ Our Savior Parish St. Nicholas Church in Struthers. The funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 1:15 pm to go to the church. Jane will be laid to rest in St. John Cemetery.

The family has requested that remembrances be made through contributions to Christ Our Savior Parish, St. Nicholas Church.
