Frank J. Patrick Jr., 78, of Boardman, passed away on February 12, 2025, of heart failure at St. Elizabeth Hospital.
He was born on September 13, 1946, in Youngstown, Ohio, a son of the late Frank J. Patrick Sr. and Ann (Rueben) Severn. Frank was a 1964 graduate of Struthers High School. He worked at the Strouss Department Store after graduation until getting drafted into the Army in 1966, where he served in Vietnam. After his discharge from the Army, he worked at Delphi Packard Electric, for 37 ½ years, retiring on January 1, 2007. He worked in Plant 3 as a molds operator and committee man, Plant 8 on tow motor, and his last five years as a zone committee man. He loved being a union representative and was a good negotiator.
Frank enjoyed eating at Bob Evans Restaurant, woodworking, watching Gunsmoke, and playing the machines and cards at the casino. He also loved spending time with his family and friends.
Frank leaves behind his brother, Michael Patrick, of Struthers; sister, Sheila Brooker (Mark), of Poland; nieces, Jennifer Patrick Cummings (Robert), Heidi Patrick, Krista Brooker, Madison Palmore-Lett (Eric), and a host of great nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Dennis Patrick and his best friend Lucky the cat.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2025, from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Kirila Funeral Home, Inc., 258 Poland Avenue in Struthers, and on Frida,y February 21, 202,5 from 10:00 am-11:00 am with a prayer service following at 11:00 am at the funeral home. His final resting place will be at Lake Park Cemetery.
