Beverly F. Yurcisin, 81, of Lowellville, passed away on March 27, 2024, at the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Boardman. Beverly was born on January 3, 1943, in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of the late Stanley and Frances (Firlit) Majdeski. She was a graduate of South High School and a member of Christ our Savior Parish, Holy Trinity Church. Beverly worked as a Secretary for Holy Trinity Church for 23 years. She was in charge of the Eucharistic Ministers and the readers at the church. She was a sacristan at Holy Trinity Church. She also would do cleaning at the church, and she was the order taker for Pirohy sales.
Beverly is survived by her husband of 59 years, Edward Yurcisin, whom she married on May 9, 1964, her sons, David Yurcisin of Youngstown, Scott (Susie) Yurcisin of South Carolina, and her "adopted son", John (Rita) Graves of Boardman, her brother, Henry Michael (MaryLou) Majdeski, in Virginia, three grandchildren, Bridget, Brandon, and Nina, and we also have to thank Father Marion for leaving her with her buddy, Alex.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 2, 2024, from 10:00 am to 10:45 am at Christ our Savior Parish, Holy Trinity Church, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am, also at Church.
Beverly will be laid to rest in St. John Cemetery.
In place of flowers, donations can be made to Holy Trinity Altar and Rosary Society.
