Allan Martin Petrunak

Allan Martin Petrunak, 65, of Struthers, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2025 with his loving family by his side. He was born on November 2, 1960 in Youngstown, Ohio, son of the late Charles and Florence (Bielawski) Petrunak. He was a lifelong resident of Struthers.

Allan was a graduate of Struthers High School and YSU. He worked for UPS, retiring in 2015.

Allan was a man of few words and preferred to let his humility do the talking for him. Never wanting the spotlight on him, he was most at ease when behind the scenes in any situation. Proud of his Polish and Slovak heritage, Allan made it a point to keep family traditions alive during the holidays, particularly Christmas and Easter. He had a great passion for gardening and was very proud of the wide variety of heirloom tomatoes and hot peppers he would grow on a yearly basis. He was also a fan of all Cleveland sports teams and The Ohio State Buckeyes.

Allan is survived by his siblings, Charles, William, and Amy.

He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Florence Petrunak.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, January 2, 2026 from 9:00am to 10:30am at Kirila Funeral Home, Inc., 258 Poland Ave., Struthers, Ohio. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 am for a Mass of Christian burial at Christ Our Savior Parish, Holy Trinity Church, 250 N. Bridge St. Struthers, Ohio.
