Alfred C. Bowles
YOUNGSTOWN - Alfred C. Bowles passed away in peace on Thursday, Jan. 31,2019.
Alfred was born Sept. 21, 1935, in Easton, N.H., son of the late Melvin Henry and Idamae Bowles.
Alfred was a long time resident of New Springfield and an active member of the Church of God Congregation. He worked and retired as a machinist and a volunteer Firefighter. He loved helping in his community. Alfred loved country music and enjoyed watching his home team, the New England Patriots. He will be remembered by many friends and companions.
Alfred is lovingly remembered by his children, Alfred C. Bowles, II (Terry), Steven H. Bowles (Jan), Malisa Roth Bowles, and Brenda Jenney (Ted); his brother, Norman Bowles; sister Marion Williams, both of New Hampshire; his beloved grandchildren, Nathan, Steven Patrick, Katelind, Cody and Andrew Bowles and his much loved long distance grandchildren, Camie, Terri, Dani, Jessica, Twyla and Teddy. He will be missed by his many precious great-grandchildren. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Alfred was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Helen; his brothers, Walter Lloyd and Paul; and two sisters, Elizabeth and Barbara.
Private services will be held for the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of the Valley, in memory of his beloved wife, Helen.
