A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on  September 21, 2016 at 10:30 am at Christ our Savior Parish, Holy Trinity Church for Rose M. Jacobs Formerly of Campbell who passed away on Wednesday September 14, 2016 at Crofton Care & Rehab Center. Rose was born in Crucible,PA. on March 16, 1917, daughter of the late Steve and Anna Marie (Hudak) Swansiger. She was a member at Holy Trinity Church and its Altar & Rosary Society and the Infant Jesus of Prague. She was a member of the Campbell Senior Citizens Club. She worked as a buyer for Strouss and Sears and as a Nurses Aid at Uniontown Hospital. Rose also helped organize the Sears Sunshine Club, now known as the Friendship Club.

Rose is survived by her daughter Dianna Sakacs of Lanham, Maryland, her son-in-law Jerry Tekac of Youngstown, her brother Raymond (Carole) Swansiger of New Middletown, her brother in law and sister in law, Bernie and Helen Jakabowski of Campbell, two sister-in-laws,  Margie Swansiger of Boardman & Doris Swansiger of Hubbard along with several nieces and nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Jacobs whom she married, August 28, 1936, he died on February 4, 1989; her daughter Roberta (Bobbie) Tekac; four brothers, Andy, Rudy, Albert and Steve, Jr. Swansiger and a sister Anna Marie Rota.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday September 21, 2016 from 9:30 am - 10:30 am at Holy Trinity Church. Burial will take place in St. John Cemetery.
