A prayer service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, March 8, 2019 at the Kirila Funeral Home, Inc. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:30 pm at the Christ Our Savior Parish, Holy Trinity Church for Mary A. Nichiporchik who died on March 4, 2019 exactly 11 years to the day her husband John died. 
Mary was born on July 3, 1925 in Youngstown, daughter of the late Steve & Anna (Ceremuga) Almasy. She was a member at Holy Trinity Church and was very active with the church festival and pirohy. She was also active with the infant Jesus Society and the Jednota Branch 156. She was on many committees for the PTA when her children were in school. She loved vacationing with her husband John, especially to Ocean City each September and out west to visit his sister in California then LasVegas. Her priority was her family. She enjoyed cooking and cleaning her house. Her specialty was baking pineapple squares for the holidays and family functions.
Mary leaves her children, Denise (Pat) Gentile, John (Cathie) Nechiporchik, Nick (Sandee) Nechiporchik, Monica (Mark) Caye, her grandchildren, Patrick (Maria) Gentile, Tamara (Jeff) Sabrin, Kristen (Tim) Hephner, Matthew (Kristy) Gentile, John (Fiancée Christine) Nechiporchik, Andrew Nechiporchik, Nicole Nechiporchik, Aliya (Justin) Howard, Alexis (John) Barnikle, Heather Caye, Kari Caye, Steve Caye, 16 great-grandchildren her sister in law, Sally Almasy and 4 nieces and 1 nephew.
In addition to her parents and her husband John whom she married on October 30, 1946 at Holy Trinity Church in Struthers, her siblings, Ernest (Peggy) Almasy, Ann Almasy, Joan (Bob) Koren and Steve Almasy.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2019 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the Kirila Funeral Home, Inc., 258 Poland Avenue in Struthers.
Thank you to the staff of Windsor Assisted Living in New Middletown for their care they gave Mary in the past. Thank you to the caring staff of Masternick Memorial in New Middletown in the Memory Unit, for their care and compassion given to Mary. Also, MVI Hospice who provided wonderful service to Mary.
