After graduation she went to work for Youngstown Sheet & Tube Company as the secretary to the Chief Metallurgist. She also worked as secretary to Mayor Dan Hurite of Struthers and retired from the Youngstown Catholic Diocese as a secretary in the Tribunal department and the Diocesan Library. She was a member of Infant Jesus of Prague Church and its Infant Jesus of Prague Guild. Being an avid reader, she became a Certified Tutor of Literacy and met at the Struthers Library with people needing help. She belonged to P.E.R.I., Inc. of Ohio and Mahoning County, Chapter #18. She met for lunch each month with members of the class of 1942 (8th grade classmates) from Holy Name School. She enjoyed her time as a Volunteer at the Davis Library in Mill Creek Park. She also was a Garden Club Member - at - large and a supporter member of Friends of Fellows Riverside Gardens. Doing yard work and tending to her home flower gardens provided her great pleasure. Eleanore married James Timko on June 7, 1952. He passed away on February 10, 2009 after sharing 59 years living and loving our lives together and raising their daughter, Roberta Lynn who today is all the things that you wish your child would be. She leaves her daughter Dr. Roberta and son-in-law Bruce Lockhart. If ever there were two people more loved and appreciated and admired for their good deeds and accomplishments, it was them. Also surviving are two grandsons, Benjamin and Spencer. They were God's greatest gifts to us. They made our world so filled with love and happiness. A brother Raymond Andrasy also survives in Charleston, S.C.

Many thanks to Janet Barnett who was her caregiver and friend and to her neighbors, Kim Dworak and Cheryl & Bert Cene for all they did.
