Arthur P. Pesa, 92, of Struthers,

Struthers, A prayer service will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 9:30 am at Kirila Funeral Home,Inc. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at Christ our Savior Parish,St. Nicholas Church for Arthur P. Pesa who passed away on Monday, January 2, 2017 at the Hospice House surrounded by his family. Arthur was born on October 8, 1924 in Youngstown, son of the late Michele and Mickelina (Zarlengo) Pesa. He was a graduate of East High School, a member at St. Nicholas Church where he would occasionally usher and served in the US Navy. Arthur worked as a Yard Clerk for Republic Steel and tended bar at the Silver Mirror in Struthers.He enjoyed spending time with his friends at Arby's in Struthers but most enjoyed his family especially spending time with his grandchildren.

Arthur is survived by his wife of 69 years, Theresa (Varone) Pesa, his children, Carol (Tom) Shannon of Struthers, Marsha Pesa of Struthers and Arthur (Jene) Pesa of Denver, CO; two sister-in-laws, Martha & Evelyn Pesa; four grandchildren, Tom (Meagan) Shannon, David (Cyrstal) Shannon, Lisa (TJ) Koniowsky and Matt Pesa and eight great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents Arthur was preceded in death by three brothers, Edward and Raymond Pesa and Joseph Dimperio and a sister Alice Nackino.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 6, 2017, 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Kirila Funeral Home, Inc., Struthers, Ohio.
Entombment will take place in the St. John Cemetery.
