Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 22, 2019 at 12:00pm  at  the New Beginnings Outreach Ministries  for Arena V. Daniels, 90, who died on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Greenbriar Healthcare Center surrounded  by her family.

Arena was born on January 4, 1929  in Richmond, VA, daughter of the late  Otha and Mildred (Campbell) Farmer. Arena was a hairstylist for 20yrs. &  homemaker who spent time unifying her family, opening her home to others.  She served during her life as: Pastor, Teacher, and the last 6yrs. Honorary Mother. Arena dedicated time to praying with son Lamont & studying the Bible.  She loved hosting with grandson (Pete) family game nights, cooking, eating, traveling, polishing her nails, vindicator comics, television  shows: Perry Mason, Matlock, & Murder She Wrote.  In 1999 she & grandson (Peanut) formed the Farmer/Howard annual July 4th Family Reunions.

Arena is survived by her children, Linda Thornton, of Canfield,  Gloria (Wallace) Jenkins of Youngstown, Christina Jordan of Youngstown,  Michael  (Diane) Worsley of Manchester, NH, Levi Worsley of Manchester, NH, David Worsley of Campbell, two  sisters, Kathy Wilson of Youngstown and Lisa (David) Jordan of Campbell,  24 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Arena was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Daniels whom she married June 6, 1981, he died January 23, 2002, son, Herman Howell,III,  daughter, Jacqueline Jennings, two brothers, Clarence & Melvin Howard.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, March 22, 2019, 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at the New Beginnings Outreach Ministry, 2007 S. Schenley Avenue in Youngstown. Burial will be in Tod Homestead Cemetery. Arrangements are by Kirila Funeral Home, Inc., Struthers, Ohio.
