Michael A. Montalvo

Struthers, Michael A. Montalvo, 

A beloved father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, Michael A. Montalvo, 66, of Struthers, passed away in the comfort of his home on March 18, 2024. Michael was born in Campbell, Ohio in 1957 son of the late Emilio and Anna Montalvo. Michael was a graduate of Campbell Memorial High School before studying Criminal Justice at Youngstown State University. Michael was a former longtime employee of Copperweld Steel Mill and General Motors working to support his beloved family.

In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his children, Michael A. Montalvo and Tracy L. Montalvo, and his brother, Samuel Montalvo. Leaving behind his children, Michael, Angela, and Roseanne, his grandchildren, Alicia, Michael, Dylan, Vincent, and Noah, and his siblings Abraham, Iris, Rosaura, and Martha, along with his nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Michael was an active member of the Jewish Community Center where he enjoyed swimming, painting, and spending time with his family. Michael will forever be remembered in our hearts for the love he had for his family and his drive to provide for us all.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday, March 27, 2024, from 1:00 pm – until the service starting at 2:00 pm at the Kirila Funeral Home, Inc. in Struthers. Following the service, Michael will be laid to rest at St. John Cemetery.
