STRUTHERS – A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016, at 11 a.m. at the Kirila Funeral Home Inc. for Susan (Hershey) Granchay, 71, who passed away on Sept. 23, 2016, at Maplecrest Nursing Home. Susan was born on Jan. 12, 1945, in Youngstown, daughter of the late Alec and Jean (Colburn) Hershey. She was a graduate of South High School and worked as a ward clerk at St. Elizabeth Hospital for 29 years. She enjoyed playing cards and traveling.

Susan is survived by her brother, David Hershey and wife Mary Ann of Boardman; her sister, Karen Hershey Tabor and husband Tom of Allison Park, Pa.; In addition to her parents, Susan was preceded in death by her husband, Carl A. Granchay, whom she married Jan. 12, 1995, and who died May 1, 1997; and her brother, William Hershey.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Kirila Funeral Home Inc., 258 Poland Ave. in Struthers. Burial will take place at the St. John Cemetery.
