LOWELLVILLE – Richard D. Weaver
Richard D. Weaver, 70, passed away Sunday, Nov. 2, 2014, at his home. He was born Jan. 22, 1944, in Greensburg, Pa., son of the late Charles O. and Anna (Hensler) Weaver. He attended school at Norwin High School and Youngstown State University, where he was in the Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity. Richard was a First Lieutenant in the U.S. Army, serving during the Vietnam War, and was a member of the VFW Post No. 7538. He worked as a supervisor for City Asphalt. Cooking was his specialty, and he enjoyed hockey, especially the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Richard is survived by his loving wife, Paula (Macabobby) Weaver, whom he married Jan. 12, 1974; his father-in-law, John Macabobby of Ohio; brother Chuck (Fran) Weaver of Pennsylvania; sister Susie Weaver of Texas; brother-in-law John (Ann) Macabobby of Ohio; sister-in-law Gail (Don) Daniels of Pennsylvania; and six nephews, Brady Mills of Texas, Matthew Mills of Nevada, Kenneth Weaver of Pennsylvania, Chris Weaver of Pennsylvania, John Andrew Macabobby of Ohio and Alex Daniels of Pennsylvania. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Christine M. Macabobby.
There are no calling hours or services planned. Richard was a loving husband, brother and uncle. He will be missed dearly.
