Struthers, Joseph J. Hromyak, 88,

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at 5:00 pm at Kirila Funeral Home,Inc for Joseph J. Hromyak who passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at Heritage Manor. He was born on March 20, 1929 son of the late John and Sue Hromyak. He graduated from Struthers High School, class of 1948. He was a member of Christ our Savior Parish, St. Nicholas Church. Joseph worked as an electrician for Youngstown Sheet & Tube and later worked at St. Joseph's Church for several years before retiring. He also served in the US Navy. Joseph was a member of VFW Post #3538,enjoyed fishing, golfing, playing cards, YSU football games, spoiling his granddaughter Alicen Ruby Hromyak and attending all the parties his son Adam and daughter in law Lori threw at their house.

Joseph is survived by two sons, Adam Hromyak and wife Lori Tomko-Hromyak, Joseph Hromyak; a sister, Marty Reef (Hromyak) his grandchildren, Alicen Ruby Hromyak, Kalli Tomko and Elizabeth Hromyak. In addition to his parents Joe was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Jean (Janosik) Hromyak whom he married on July 3, 1965, she died on April 4, 2005, a brother, Mike Hromyak, sisters, Catherine, Sue, Ann, Delores, and Helen Hromyak.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 5, 2017, 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm at Kirila Funeral Home, Inc., 258 Poland Avenue in Struthers. Burial will take place in the St. John Cemetery.

In place of flowers, monetary donations can be made directly to the family.
