Erie, PA., Frederick M. Gavalier Jr.,
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday March 10, 2015 at 11:30 am at Christ Our Savior Parish, St. Nicholas Church for Frederick M. Gavalier, Jr.  age 46, of Erie, PA, formerly of Struthers, OH, who passed away on Friday, March 6, 2015.  He was born in Youngstown, OH on March 20, 1968, the son of Frederick Sr. and Veronica Gavalier. 

Fred was a 1986 graduate of Struthers High School. He was a Retail Manager with Sam’s Club for 25 years and most recently with Lowe’s. He loved muscle cars, music and playing the guitar. He loved going to and watching Pittsburgh Pirates games with his wife and children. He also enjoyed attending his children’s school and sports activities.

In addition to his parents, Fred is survived by his wife, Dawn (Zamary) Gavalier; four children, Ryan, Rachel, Riley and Reid; two sisters, Leslie (Jonathan) Hunter and Renee (Chris)  Nye; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 9:00 am - 11:00 am at Kirila Funeral Home, Inc., 258 Poland Avenue in Struthers. The funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 11:15 am for St. Nicholas Church.
