Struthers, Carol J. (DePietro) Lennox, 69 passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. Carol was born October 26, 1947 in Youngstown, Ohio, daughter of the late Armand and Bertha (Veon) DiPietro. She was a 1966 graduate of Struthers High School and worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for several area nursing homes for 30 years. Carol enjoyed Horticulture, drawing and was an animal enthusiast. She was a free spirit and most of her nights she just loved to relax and watch animal planet.

She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Janice (Jim) Matricardi of Struthers, Pam (Jack) Webb of Tennessee, Darlene Bell of Struthers, her brother, Armand "Duke" (Anne) DiPietro of Poland, twin sisters, Judy Smith of Columbus and Shirley DePietro of Youngstown and two sister in laws, Louise DePietro of Poland and Carol DePietro of North Carolina along with six grandchildren, Christine Webb, Jimmy Matricardi, Evan Bell, Joey Matricardi, Tara Tamburro and Tamara Webb, her great grandchildren, Julianna, Therrissa, Moses and Elia and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her brothers, Carmine "Bill" DePietro and John DePietro and a granddaughter Alexis.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Hospice of the Valley for their exceptional care and concern given to Carol especially nurses, Tracey and Denise. Carol chose not to have any calling hours or services.
