Struthers, Barbara Eloise Ahmer, 83

A funeral service will be held on Monday November 23, 2015 at 11:00am at Kirila Funeral Home, Inc.  for Barbara Eloise Ahmer who passed away on Wednesday November 18, 2015 at her home. Barbara was born on June 14, 1932 in Parkersburg, West Virginia daughter of the late  Ernest Boyd and Neva Juanita (Saunders) Ferguson. .

She was as a homemaker and a member of Victory Christian Center

Barbara is survived by her daughter , Sandra Kay (Jim) Booher of East Palestine and nine grandchildren, Jessica  (Bill) Sczcygiel, Joellen (Doug) Sherl, Jackie Lee Doyle, Jenna (Joshua) Burrows, Judith Parnell, Joshua (Candace)  Booher, Jamie Booher, Eric & Ryan Ahmer, eleven  Great Grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, John Oswald Ahmer whom she married on June 27, 1949, he died on January 9, 2000, her sons, Gregory Patrick Ahmer and  John Cyril Ahmer and her daughter, Jennifer Lynn Parnell.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 22, 2015, from  4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Kirila Funeral Home, Inc., 258 Poland Avenue in Struthers. Burial will take place in St. John Cemetery.

Barbara will always be remembered and loved by her family and friends. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her family was her life, always putting their needs first. She was a role model to all those she touched.
